PASTForward – the influence of the post-moderns

White Oak Dance Project of which Mikhail Baryshnikov is founder and director as well as lead performer, has commissioned over 40 new dances from modern choreographers since its inception in 1990. The seven choreographers of „PASTForward“ represent a veritable Who‘s who of American post-modernism. Baryshnikov wants to give audiences a unique glimpse of the arc of these artists´ visions.
