This ballet class is well-suited for contemporary dancers, with special emphasis on alignment and musicality. The focus is on clear body and spatial directions, rhythm and flow in movement, and clarity in presence and intention, completed by a short session involving Forsythe phrases and improvisation in each class. The classes will be accompanied by piano.

Elizabeth Corbett was a soloist of the Frankfurt Ballet with William Forsythe for more than a decade and has been teaching ballet, improvisation and Forsythe repertory at P.A.R.T.S., Brussels year-round, and at other summer festivals such as ImPulsTanz, Vienna for ten years. Her teaching style is inspired by teachers who have strongly influenced her learning process and her dancing, Marjorie Mussman and Maggie Black.
