CARTES POSTALES erzählt von den Ritualen und Momenten einer Freundschaft, zeigt verschiedene Tänze, unterlegt mit Chansons von Melina Mercouri, Jacques Brel, José Cura, Sophia Loren – eine Art sentimentaler Juke-Box. Für PAROLES DE... hat der Journalist Laurent Goumarre sich an Hoghes künstlerische Ideen und Arbeitsmethoden angenähert und sie zum Ausgangspunkt seines Filmes gemacht. Boris Charmatz und Dimitri Chamblas brechen in LES DISPARATES erneut mit den Konventionen. Zeitsprünge zerstückeln das Solo von Charmatz und katapultieren ihn an verschiedene Orte: ans Meer, auf eine Straße, in eine Fabrik oder eine Bar. Zum Abschluss des Abends zeigen wir noch einen Kurzfilm auf persönliche Empfehlung von Boris Charmatz: WE ARE WINNING... ist ein engagiertes Filmporträt in vier Kapiteln und 1000 Photos. The program incorporates forms as diverse as film essay, fictional and experimental documentary, and dance film. CARTES POSTALES features excerpts from Raimund Hoghe‘s productions TANZGESCHICHTEN and LETTRE AMOROSE. The film PAROLES DE... by French journalist Laurent Goumarre takes Hoghe‘s artistic strategies and methods as its subject matter. Boris Charmatz and Dimitri Chamblas break with convention once again in LES DISPARATES. Leaps in time punctuate Charmatz‘s solo and transport him to various sites, such as a beach, a street, a factory, and a bar. The evening will conclude with a short film suggested to us by Boris Charmatz: WE ARE WINNING..., a passionately political film essay made up of four chapters and 1000 stills.
