AFTER SADE aisikl & Mårten Spångberg

/// after Sade ist eine Performance in Form eines Konzerts. Eine sentimentale Reflexion des Phänomens der ‘Migration’: Was passiert, wenn ein Song aus einem Kontext herausgelöst wird und in einem anderen wieder auftaucht.

THE MAKING OF THE MAKING OF Mette Ingvartsen

“TMOTMO was a research project questioning general modes of working, methodologies and relations to technology: how to examine the differences between media such as cinema, live performance, oral expression and animation. The triple screening that will be shown is a documentation of an attempt to create a model for live performance-making that is constantly in negotiation with other forms of mediatised expression. It is to a potential performance what a screenplay is to a movie or a script to a play: A model for interpretation and transformation.” (M. Ingvartsen)

31 AUG / 18.00 h
MARTIN NACHBAR & JEROEN PEETERS present

“In connection with their workshop BACKTRACKING Martin Nachbar and Jeroen Peeters will shed new light on their favorite Marx Brothers’ classic: A NIGHT AT THE OPERA (1935).” (J. Peeters)

Films by
Adam Roberts on the work of
Jonathan Burrows & Matteo Fargion

HANDS (1994)

BOTH SITTING DUET (2002)
“The piece is a direct translation, note for note and bar for bar, of American composer Morton Feldman´s piece FOR JOHN CAGE. The work takes the film HANDS as its point of departure, transforming it into a counterpoint for two performers.” (J. Burrows)
