Zu den jazzigen Klängen einer vierköpfigen Live-Band feiert die High-Society vor den Toren von Paris eine Party. Das Fernsehen berichtet über die aktuellen Präsidentschaftswahlen, die Stimmung im Land ist aufgeheizt. Während des Abends verschwindet ein Diamantencollier... Wie in seinem international erfolgreichen Gruppenstück Péplum wird Nasser Martin-Gousset auch in seiner neuen Choreografie Tanz, Schauspiel und Musik vereinen – inspiriert von den amerikanischen Komödien der 60er Jahre. Vier Musiker bilden das Zentrum der Szenerie, um sie herum fließen Tanz und Schauspiel ineinander. Neben Nasser Martin-Gousset werden auch Laurie Young und Grayson Millwood, langjährige Mitglieder der Compagnie Sasha Waltz & Guests, in COMEDY auf der Bühne zu sehen sein.
At the Paris gates the high society celebrates a party to jazzy sounds of a four-man live band. Television stations are reporting about the latest presidential elections, the country is on edge. In the course of the evening a diamond necklace disappears… After his first international success Péplum, Nasser Martin-Gousset will again unify dance, acting and music in his new choreography. Inspired by American comedies from the Sixties, four musicians occupy center stage; dance and theater flows around them. On stage in COMEDY we will see, alongside Nasser Martin-Gousset, Sasha Waltz & Guests’ longtime Company members Laurie Young und Grayson Millwood.
