Einen Teil bildet „The Black Hold Fountain“, eine Arbeit, in der ein Körper den anderen rhythmisch und fast fanatisch unter Wasser taucht. Der Kampf um Luft und Atem wird hier in sehr eindringlicher Weise gezeigt.

Für „Neverland“ verwendet Zins-Browne eine aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammende holographische Technik. Als Effekt wird ein frei stehender, dreidimensionaler Körper erzeugt. Christophe Lesquene, einer der weltweit berühmtesten Michael Jackson-Imitatoren, ist als Jackson verkleidet. Schwitzend und außer Atem sehen wir ihn immer nur wie kurz vor der Bewegung oder direkt nach dem eigentlichen Event.

„Guest“ handelt von der menschlichen Grausamkeit, Orte und Gesellschaftsmodelle mit Gewalt zu verteidigen, und geht der Frage nach, wie der Mensch auf Bedrohungen reagiert und wann sich Verzweiflung und Verlangen nach Sicherheit in Brutalität verwandeln. Es ist eine Meditation über unsere Angst um unser Leben und unseren Besitz sowie über die Suche nach sicheren Orten und einem guten Leben.

Marko Milič (Performer) und Simon Phillips (Musiker) werden sich am 28. August zum ersten Mal persönlich treffen – zu einem ungewöhnlichen Konzert.
Two artist will apply their own interest inside of this proposal where they will try to negotiate their unfamiliar aesthetics.
Simon James Phillips is a Berlin based Australian pianist – originally from a classical background, but now is mostly an experimental improvisor. His music is heavily influenced by minimalism and electronic music and he has developed a techique where he makes use of the overtones and resonance of the piano to create an almost 'electronic' wash of sound.

Stilistisch ist die Musik eine Mischung aus allem, was Hans Narva in seinem bewegten Leben schon gemacht hat. Die getragene Kammermusik des Crack-up Collective scheint ebenso durch wie der experimentelle Elektro-Punk von Herbst in Peking. Der Ausdruck tiefer Trauer dient als Klammer um die Klangvielfalt – als Würgegriff der Verzweiflung, den glücklicherweise immer wieder ein Ton des Trostes löst. Aber es ist ein seltsamer Trost, den die Musik spendet, einer der sagt: Es ist nicht schlimm, dass du nie wieder glücklich wirst! |
