DE »Constructing Resilience« ist ein Langzeitprojekt, das zeitlich begrenzte lokale Gemeinschaften von Individuen aufbaut, die Körperpraktiken im öffentlichen Raum verorten. Initiiert wurde das Projekt kurz vor dem Ausbruch der »Proteste für soziale Gerechtigkeit« in Israel im Sommer 2011. Nach seiner Fortsetzung während der Occupy Wall Street-Aktionen in New York und einer weiteren Station in Tel Aviv findet »Constructing Resilience« nun in Berlin seinen Abschluss. Durch kollektive Straßenbegehungen und die Projektion bestimmter Gedankenwelten auf die Umgebung versucht das Projekt, eine Bewegung hervorzubringen. Teilen Sie die Erfahrung von »Constructing Resilience«! Nehmen Sie mit uns an unterschiedlichen Demonstrationszeremonien teil.
Interessenten können nach Anmeldung an vier Terminen am Arbeitsprozess der Gruppe teilnehmen (s. oben). Zusätzlich findet eine Abschlussperformance im Theaterraum statt. |

EN »Constructing Resilience« is a long-term project that builds temporary, local communities that place physical practices into public spaces. The project began in 2011 in Israel, moved through Occupy Wall Street in New York, continued onwards to Tel Aviv to now reach its final phase from August 6th to 18th in Berlin. Collectively engaging in walking on the street while projecting specific points of imagination onto the surroundings, »Constructing Resilience« seeks to create a movement. The project is shared through an invitation to participate in different ceremonies of demonstration.
»Constructing Resilience« welcomes you to participate as a guest for a whole day of work on four different dates (see above). In addition, there will be a final event in the theater. |
