Nasser Martin-Gousset was inspired by Emily Brontë’s novel "Wuthering Heights" and by the film "Gone with the Wind" to create his third choreographic work with his Compagnie La Maison. With the piece "Neverland", Martin-Gousset has succeeded in creating an unusually romantic and touching performance, in which idealized love-projections slowly lead to self-destruction. At the end, the figures are left behind, abandoned and isolated. The piece reflects the choreographer’s fascination for the language of film and literature. Nasser Martin-Gousset was for many years a dancer for Sasha Waltz in the "Travelogue" trilogy.
