Die Bewegung des einen wird vollkommen von dem bestimmt, was sich im Kopf des anderen abspielt ... Der französische Choreograf Boris Charmatz stellt sein neues Werk vor, getanzt von einem außerordentlichen Trio: Julia Cima, Raimund Hoghe und dem Choreografen selbst. In seinen Projekten stellt Charmatz immer wieder die anerkannten Werte des Tanzes in Frage – die Schönheit und die Anmut der Tänzer, die Nacktheit als Allegorie der Freiheit, die Beziehung zur Musik, die Einnahme des Raumes ... Gleichzeitig sucht er ständig nach neuen Wegen, damit der Zuschauer nicht nur von der getanzten Bewegung mitgetragen wird, sondern sich vielmehr fragt, „ob diese oder jene Geste ein echter Ausdruck von Freiheit oder eine Äußerung des Wesens des Menschen ist“. Das Projekt RÉGI ist für Charmatz „ein Sesam-öffne-dich der Choreografie, wo jede Bewegung dem Zuschauer und uns die Tür zu einer großen Vertrautheit eröffnen sollte.“ “Julia Cima and I revolve around Raimund Hoghe, like ghosts.
