DE Zum ersten Mal wird das Festival von einem Blog begleitet. Unter der Adresse tanzimaugust-blog.de begleiten vier junge KulturjournalistInnen täglich das Programm – als Festival-Medium nach außen und innen, als Knotenpunkt in den Netzwerken. Alle Genres sind erwünscht: Rezensionen der eingeladenen Produktionen, Interviews mit Protagonisten, Themenstücke und Essays, Festivalsplitter und individuelle Erkundungen. Betreut werden die AutorInnen von erfahrenen internationalen Kulturjournalisten, die als Mentoren nicht nur die redaktionelle Arbeit begleiten, sondern auch die unterschiedlichen Formen und Funktionen des Tanzjournalismus thematisieren. Der Blog entsteht inmitten des Festivalbetriebs, in Redaktionsräumen, die in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Spielorten liegen. Das Projekt findet statt in Kooperation mit dem Berliner Tagesspiegel und der Fachzeitschrift tanz. EN For the first time, the festival will have its own blog.
