| DE Die schwedische Choreografin Gunilla Heilborn liebt das Unspektakuläre. Ihr tänzerisches Roadmovie, das ihre Interpreten vom Nordkap über Potsdam bis nach Lissabon führt, ist voll von liebevoll erarbeiteten verschrobenen Miniaturen. In unterschiedlichen Rollen treffen eine Frau und ein Mann aufeinander, berühren einander, tanzen miteinander und erzählen einander vor allem Geschichten. Aus sparsam eingesetzem Bewegungsmaterial und wunderbar unterkühlten Dialogen entwickelt Heilborn eine überaus originelle Hommage an den Roadmovie-Klassiker »Fluchtpunkt San Francisco« von Richard C. Sarafian. Wie der Protagonist dieses Kinofilms erreicht auch das Paar von »This is not a love story« niemals sein Ziel. |

| EN »This is not a love story« is a story of two reluctant heroes – Kowalski and Vera. At least those are their names in one of the scenes. They talk, dance and never stop asking questions: Who did what? When? Where? And why? A delicate search for context and connections that always seem to be slightly beyond our reach, the journey is not about the destination, but rather the transformation and reflection along the way. The journey keeps starting over... again and again, like a road movie dance. |
